In de Landenprofielen Kanker worden voor elk van de 27 EU-lidstaten, IJsland en Noorwegen de sterke punten, uitdagingen en specifieke actiegebieden vastgesteld, om de investeringen en maatregelen op EU, nationaal en regionaal niveau in het kader van het Europees kankerbestrijdingsplan te sturen. Elk nationaal kankerprofiel geeft een korte samenvatting van: de nationale kankerlast; risicofactoren voor kanker (met de nadruk op gedrags- en omgevingsrisicofactoren); programma’s voor vroegtijdige opsporing; prestaties van de kankerzorg (met de nadruk op toegankelijkheid, kwaliteit van de zorg, kosten en het effect van COVID-19 op de kankerzorg).

I landsprofilerna om cancer identifieras styrkor, utmaningar och särskilda åtgärdsområden för var och en av EU:s 27 medlemsländer samt Island och Norge för att vägleda investeringar och åtgärder på EU-nivå, nationell nivå och regional nivå som del av Europas plan mot cancer. Varje landscancerprofil innehåller en kort sammanfattning av följande: den nationella cancerbördan ; riskfaktorer för cancer (med fokus på beteendeoch miljöriskfaktorer); program för tidig upptäckt; cancervårdens resultat (med fokus på tillgänglighet, vårdkvalitet, kostnader och COVID-19:s inverkan på cancervården).

The scope of this report covers 88 public and private pension funds from 39 countries. This survey is based on a qualitative questionnaire sent directly to large pension funds and public pension reserve funds. It covers the infrastructure investment made by large pension funds and public pension reserve funds, but also their approach to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. It helps provide detailed investment information and insights which complement the aggregated data on portfolio investments gathered by the OECD at a national level through the Global Pension Statistics and Global Insurance Statistics projects.

This report provides Hungary with key recommendations and policy options to establish comprehensive and user-friendly methodologies and tools for the greater uptake of life-cycle costing (LCC) methodology in public procurement. The report introduces the concept of LCC and its links to the wider sustainable public procurement agenda, and maps the current practices in Hungary and existing LCC tools in other EU and OECD countries, with a view of drawing insights to promote the development and uptake of LCC tools.
Carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) technologies are set to play an important role in putting the global energy system on a path to net zero. Successfully deploying CCUS relies on the establishment of legal and regulatory frameworks to ensure the effective stewardship of CCUS activities and the safe and secure storage of CO2.
Several countries have already developed comprehensive legal and regulatory frameworks for CCUS. These form a valuable knowledge base for the growing number of countries that have identified a role for CCUS in meeting their climate goals, but which are yet to establish a legal foundation for CCUS, and particularly for CO2 storage. Increasingly, existing frameworks are also being tested as more commercial CCUS projects are developed, with important learnings for regulators.
This IEA CCUS Handbook is a resource for policy makers and regulators on establishing and updating legal and regulatory frameworks for CCUS. It identifies 25 priority issues that frameworks should address for CCUS deployment, presenting global case studies and examining how different jurisdictions have approached these issues. The handbook is supported by a webbased legal and regulatory database, and model legislative text that is found at the end of this report.
Labor Migration in Asia: COVID-19 Impacts, Challenges, and Policy Responses analyzes labor migration trends in Asia and puts them in the context of economic and policy developments as well as the changes caused by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. It provides an overview of the labor migration trends to and from different Asian economies and looks at policy settings in major origin and destination economies of labor migrants. Chapter 1 reviews the recent regional trends, including evidence on the impact of the pandemic on flows and remittances. Chapter 2 looks at the available data on migrant job losses and COVID-19 infections, as well as policy responses to the pandemic in the key areas of access to health, occupational safety and health, housing, social protection, and the resumption of labor migration. Chapter 3 focuses on the return and reintegration challenges and policy responses in the wake of the pandemic. This report draws on the discussions that took place at the “11th ADBI-OECD-ILO Roundtable on Labor Migration: Impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic and Building Back Better,” held virtually in April 2021. The event, co-organized by the Asian Development Bank Institute, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, and the International Labour Organization, brought together regional experts and policy makers. The report provides up-to-date comparative statistics on labor migration flows in, to, and from Asia. Two statistical annexes offer detailed economy fact sheets and coverage of intra-Asia and cross-regional migration flows.
