  • This Survey is published on the responsibility of the Economic and Development Review Committee (EDRC) of the OECD, which is charged with the examination of the economic situation of member countries.The economic situation and policies of the Slovak Republic were reviewed by the Committee on 10 September 2014. The draft report was then revised in the light of the discussions and given final approval as the agreed report of the whole Committee on 15 October 2014.The Secretariat’s draft report was prepared for the Committee by Lilas Demmou under the supervision of Andreas Wörgötter. Research assistance was provided by Seung-Hee Koh. Arthur Radziwill and Yana Vaziakova contributed at an early stage. The Survey also benefitted from consultancy work by Robert Price, Gabriel Machlica, Martin Halus and Robert Menkyna.

  • This annex reviews action taken on recommendations from previous Economic Surveys of the Slovak Republic. They cover reforms in the following areas: labour markets, education, product markets, public sector efficiency and the fiscal framework. Each recommendation is followed by a short note of actions taken since the 2012 Economic Survey of the Slovak Republic.
